Stumbled upon this whilst checking-out MIT's amazing open courseware ... jolly nerdy fun :-) Sadly it seems to reflect the apparent trend towards A-Level subjects like Sociology and away from "hard" subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology!

Can't see a way to contact you, so I think I'm probably abusing all blogger etiquette by using the comment feature to talk to you...
I'm a lecturer in the UK too, and have started a blog on Blogger. I wondered if you could say something about whether you are aiming to write an anon blog or not (I'd like mine to be anon - and since I don't fully understand all the technical stuff, I'm starting very cautiously). I'll add your blog as a link on my blog. I've tried your webpage link from your profile page a couple of times - it doesn't work.
